About the Department

MBA

Master of Business Administration is one of the popular; two year professional course.MBA is an internationally accepted Master of Post Graduate level degree. The MBA porgramme covers various areas of business such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and Statistics

MBA Department was started this college in the year 2008 with an approval of AICTE for the intake of 60 Students. This course has made positive contribution to the saga of the college. Students are admitted through I-CET entrance test conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The Department is well equipped with computer centre with systems of lasts configuration, hardware specifications, internet accessibility.

About Head of the Department:

Mr.S.Joshuva Daniel has completed MBA with the specialization in Financial Management from University College of Engineering which is affiliated to Kakatiya Univeristy and qualified in UGC NET and APSET. He has completed his M.Phil from S.V.University Tirupathi.He has the teaching experience of 14 years in his career he guided nearly 80 students in their project work

He worked in various positions like Head of the Department, In charge for Examinations, Event Manager for various seminars and activities. He has attended for 4 National conferences and 2 workshops and his articles were published in 2 international Journals.

Mission: To produce managers and entrepreneurs who are socially responsible. To involve students and faculty in innovative research projects linked with industry and research institutions.

LABs Of MBA

Communication Lab:

This lab focuses the students to learn better pronunciation through stress on word accent, rhythm.It also trains students to use language effectively to face interviews, group discussios, public speaking and initiate students to use computers in resume preparation, report writing etc.


Leadership Lab:

It provides the students to make strategic decision making and to have critical, analytical thinking. It gives theory to practice, accompanies real life leadership challenges


Soft Skills Lab:

In this lab students develop competencies and skills to face business challenges. Students explore to engage effectively in organinsation and find their limits and capabilities.


Digital Skills Lab:

It helps students to understand how a digital invention drives innovation with in accompany and why a cognitive system become a new digital intelligence.Here students understand the new business models.


Project Management Lab:

It identifies the project characteristics, like objectives stake holders and organization, this makes the students to develop the skills to formalize the project scope, create the work, manage process and tools.


Adventure Lab:

It provides with skills and knowledge to create and manage new business venture. All faculty members supervise training sessions, live case studies and knowledge sharing events to help students to design a new business and to develop entrepreneurial mindset. It focuses on Business planning, Business modeling, Business funding etc.

The Department trains the students to be in par with that of industry requirements and inclines them towards the research as well

Group Discussion:

Group Discussion refers to an activity were it allows the students to share their views and opinions with other participants .It is a systematic exchange of information, views and opinions about a topic, problems issue or situation which is related to business.

This activity makes the students to research on business issues and to draw conclusions for the sake of decision making, further this activity enhances communication skills, knowledge, leadership skills, listening skills, conceptualizing ability etc.

Major Projects:

Students have to undergo practical training for a period of 6 weeks in a corporate enterprise during the first summer vacation. During the training period the candidate should work on specific problem related to management. At the end of the practical training the student shall obtain a certificate for receiving the training from the organization. The student shall prepare a project Report under the supervision of a guide form the faculty. The student shall present a seminar on the project work done by him.

Mock Interview:

Mock interview is a situation where it an approximate imitation of a job interview. The conversation exercise is a replica of real interview. This gives experience for the students to face the interview for job in the corporate sector with confidence. The interviewer gives feed back to the students so as to improve their performance.
