Dr K Rajendra Prasad

Dr. K Rajendra Prasad, Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), holds more than 17 years of teaching experience. He joined KLRCET in June 2018. Beyond teaching, he excels as a professional and personal development trainer, equipped to manage administrative responsibilities.

With an educational background that includes a B.Tech in ECE from JNTUH (2006), an M.Tech in Communication & Radar from ANU (2008), and a Ph.D. in Wireless Communications from JNTUH, Hyderabad (2019). He is a distinguished life member of MISTE and MIETE, underscoring his dedication to professional growth.

Currently serving as the Principal and Professor of ECE at K L R College of Engineering & Technology, Palvancha, Telangana, he brings a wealth of experience to his role. Dr. Prasad’s impactful journey includes tenure as an Assistant Professor at K L University from October 2007 to April 2016, where he held pivotal roles. His excellence in teaching was recognized through the “Best Teacher” awards from the ECE department at K L University for the academic years 2010-11 and 2012-13. From May 2016 to May 2018, he served as an Associate Professor at ADAM’S Engineering College, Palvancha.

Dr. RP’s core strengths encompass a personalized teaching approach, extensive experience in project-based labs, proficiency in employing ICT tools for teaching, and sound administration skills. His expertise extends to accreditation procedures, IQAC measures, technical writing, MATLAB, Labview, and research in Wireless Communication. He is active researcher in wireless communication and having 21 publications in reputed journals.
