About

The Career Development Centre (CDC) at the KLR College of Engineering and Technology (KLRCET) understands the pulse of the corporate world and is helping the students to prepare for their careers. Besides, the Career Development Centre consists of leading members who are dedicated to providing guidance to the students on creating a clear career plan, setting realistic career goals and a planned timetable on professional development for their future. Exclusive training programs in soft skills and aptitude, online tests are given to students to make them assess skills in broader areas. The centre ensures to provide an optimum opportunity for all the students to fetch the most suited placement for them.

Objectives

Our students are groomed with utmost concern to be the assets of the organization. Students are given wide exposure to academic subjects, sharpening their creative skills and their ability to think laterally.
The main objective of the CDC is to understand the motive and goal of the student individually and helps them to achieve. If a student is interested in particular career path, CDC will train him/her on the particular field of area and expertise them.
It is a comprehensive platform that combines the ideas of students and knowledge of the trainers to facilitate learning beyond classroom and connect them to the real life instances.

The CDC is further sub celled with Training and Placement Cell, Career Guidance Cell, Student Innovation & Skill Development Cell and Alumni Cell.
