About the Department

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) B.Tech program was started in 2008, admitting an intake of 60 students. Moreover, an extra 20% of seats are set aside for lateral entry applicants. In 2013, our department introduced the M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering, accepting 18 students annually.CSE is actively involved in the execution of development projects and consultancy services. We maintain collaborative partnerships with a diverse range of industries, academic institutions, and development organizations across the country. Our cutting-edge laboratories are meticulously designed to meet the teaching and research needs of both students and faculty. These labs are seamlessly interconnected through a fiber optic LAN, seamlessly integrated into the Institute’s expansive network infrastructure. Our internet connection boasts a lightning-fast 100 Mbps speed. The curriculum is comprehensive and comprises fundamental core subjects. In the first two semesters, students delve into essential topics such as Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, RDBMS, Software Engineering, Language Processor, and Operating Systems. Additionally, students have the exciting opportunity to explore various elective subjects, including but not limited to Data Structures, Advanced Computer Graphics, Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and many more.
