About Mechanical Engineering

KLRCET offers a Bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad since 2009. Our curriculum emphasizes practical learning, preparing students for careers in professional engineering or advanced study. We prioritize high-quality teaching and integrated laboratory experiences, supported by our advanced infrastructure with eight laboratories. Our graduates are well-equipped with the principles of mechanical engineering and a commitment to ethical engineering practices, addressing societal and environmental concerns. Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO 1: Graduates shall have the ability to apply knowledge across the disciplines and in merging areas of Mechanical Engineering for higher studies, research, employability and handle the realistic problems

PEO 2: Graduates shall have strong foundation in academic excellence, soft skills, managerial skills, leadership qualities and understand the need for lifelong learning for a successful professional career.

PEO 3: Produce graduates who recognize the importance of and engage in life-long learning, whether through self-study, continuing education courses or workshops, or through formal graduate level education and encourage others to have this same motivation.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs):

PSO 1: Apply their knowledge in the domain of engineering mechanics, thermal and fluid sciences to solve engineering problems utilizing advanced technology.

PSO 2: To demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of Project Engineering, Manufacturing    Technology and Management principles, and apply them to manage projects and production optimally in any organization.

PSO 3: Develop and implement new ideas on product design and development with the help of modern CAD/CAM tools, while ensuring best manufacturing practices.
