About The Department

The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department launched its B.Tech program in 2008 with an initial intake of 60 students, plus an additional 20% seats reserved for lateral entry candidates. The department expanded its offerings in 2013 by introducing an M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering with an annual intake of 18 students. Actively engaged in development projects and consultancy services, the department maintains strong collaborations with various industries, academic institutions, and development organizations nationwide. It features state-of-the-art laboratories equipped to support both teaching and research activities for students and faculty, all connected through a fiber optic LAN that integrates with the institute's wider network infrastructure, supported by a high-speed 100 Mbps internet connection. The comprehensive curriculum covers fundamental core subjects like Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, RDBMS, Software Engineering, Language Processor, and Operating Systems in the first two semesters, while also offering diverse electives including Data Structures, Advanced Computer Graphics, Distributed Systems, and Artificial Intelligence to provide students with a well-rounded education in cutting-edge technologies.

Ms.P.Shraddha

Ms. P. Shradha is a dedicated academic professional currently serving as the Head of the Department (HOD) of Computer Science and Engineering at KLR College of Engineering. She holds both B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Computer Science, having completed her entire academic journey at KLR College. With over 3 years of teaching experience, including 2 years at KLR College of Engineering, she has quickly established herself as a committed educator and department leader. Ms. Shradha is known for her focus on academic excellence, student mentoring, and the continuous improvement of teaching practices. Her active involvement in departmental development reflects her passion for creating a dynamic and future-ready learning environment.
