About Department

The Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) department is at the heart of modern technological progress, shaping innovations that go far beyond traditional electrical systems. Since its establishment in 2009, our department has been offering a B.Tech program with an annual intake of 60 students, guided by a dedicated team of 19 faculty members who combine deep academic knowledge with practical industry experience. Our professors actively contribute to research, with many publications in respected national and international journals, ensuring students benefit from the latest developments in the field.

We enhance classroom learning with modern laboratory facilities, industry-focused training sessions, expert-led seminars, and valuable interactions with professionals. Our comprehensive approach includes career-oriented programs, visits to industrial sites, technical competitions, and skill-building activities like group discussions and career counseling. This balanced focus on both technical expertise and professional growth prepares our graduates to excel as skilled engineers and future leaders in the dynamic world of electrical and electronics engineering.

Dr.RAKESH TEERDALA

Dr. Rakesh Teerdala is a distinguished academic leader and researcher in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department at KLRCET. With a strong academic foundation, he holds a PhD in Power Systems (2018) and an M.Tech in Electrical Power Systems (2011) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in EEE from ADAMS Engineering College (2009). Boasting over 13 years of teaching and leadership experience, Dr. Teerdala has held key academic roles, including Assistant Professor positions at Abdul Kalam Institute of Technological Sciences and Mallareddy Engineering College for Women, as well as a Teaching Assistant at JNTUH Hyderabad. His research expertise spans FACTS controllers, power electronics applications, optimization techniques, and power system operation & control, with notable contributions including 2 Indian Patent Publications, 2 Text Books, and 27 publications in national and international journals and conferences. As HOD, he combines his technical acumen, research excellence, and mentorship skills to drive innovation and academic growth in the EEE department.
